Social Media Account Manager

PERK Social Media is hiring an experienced Social Media Account Manager to lead strategy, communication, and execution for 4–5 client accounts.
This is not an entry-level content role. We are looking for someone who can confidently manage client relationships, organize social media strategy, and keep projects moving without constant oversight.
Many of our clients operate in industries that are not traditionally flashy on social media, such as medical, nonprofit, and energy-related organizations.
We are looking for someone who enjoys bringing creativity and strategy to these types of brands.
A Note on This Role
This role requires someone who is comfortable owning client relationships and managing multiple social media accounts independently.
You should be confident leading conversations with clients, organizing strategy and content planning, and keeping projects moving without constant reminders. If you are still learning the basics of social media management or need significant day-to-day direction, this role will likely not be the right fit.
We are looking for someone who enjoys taking responsibility for their accounts and being a trusted partner to both clients and teammates.
Who This Role Is For
You are someone who:
• Has
3–6 years of professional social media management experience
• Is comfortable communicating directly with clients, including phone calls and strategy discussions
• Can manage
multiple accounts and deadlines without reminders
• Understands social media strategy beyond simply posting content
• Is highly organized and proactive
• Enjoys collaborating with a team while owning your responsibilities
Bonus experience with:
• Medical organizations
• Nonprofits
• Oil and gas or industrial companies
• Vertical video and short-form content
What You’ll Do
• Manage 4–5 client social media accounts
• Lead client communication including planning calls and feedback conversations
• Build organized
content calendars and social media strategies
• Work with the PERK team on
content creation and campaigns
• Lead or assist with
content sessions in the Greater New Orleans area
• Review performance metrics and adjust strategy

Compensation & Perks
• Full-time position based in New Orleans

$55,000 – $60,000 salary depending on experience
